What I Learn?
The first thing you do is explain to your teen what happens if they steal or continue to steal. Show the teen what happens if they steal. Show positivity to the teen by giving them good rewards.
If the teen did steal before, you should ask why the teen stole in the first place. Give ideas to the teen on how to earn income. Get your teen involved with good activities to keep them distracted. Spend time with your teen. If these things don't help, there's always a professional help that you can get for the teen.
