TED TALK CHALLENGE!!!!

This challenge starts November 1st until November 30th.

What is TED Talk? It's many videos and talks that spread ideas globally. They all are different and talk about different ideas.

While this challenge only works if I can get random videos so I've signed up to get recommends and even daily videos... I will share the video via the site or YouTube... which ever works better for you all... I'm hoping these videos would all be available on YouTube so that I can share it there.

Now the next question... Why is it relevant to Pop Culture? Simple... you'll be surprise what you might find on the world wide web... or Internet to those who want to know. Some of the videos are people who are into Pop Culture so that is why....

I will not only be sharing the videos here but on my personal blog, A Faerie Journey as well as on my personal FB page and on my twitter.

I want people to join in with this challenge because you never know what you might find.

For now... I'll see you during the challenge...

My Review on Horror Movie Challenge

This one was interesting to see... only one movie was able to scare me a bit... but barely.

Horror movies are wide and far... can be funny or scary as heck. It just depends on what you might watch.

Sadly, this challenge was only for a Halloween special which will end today as I post this.

Next year, it will be all about horror TV shows... so keep an eye out on that next year.

This challenge was fun to do but I don't dare to do this often xD However, when there's a challenge where it comes to random movies, it will be different.

Who knows... maybe you all enjoyed the Halloween of horrors too...

So for now... Happy Halloween everybody!

See you all on another challenge starting November 1st.

Horror Movie Day 31: México Bárbaro

México Bárbaro Poster

About:

Eight Mexican directors unite to bring tales of the most brutally terrifying Mexican traditions and legends to vividly shocking life. MEXICO BARBARO presents haunting stories that have been woven into the fabric of a nation s culture, some passed down through the centuries and some new, but all equally frightening. Stories of boogeymen, trolls, ghosts, monsters, Aztec sacrifices, and of course the Day of the Dead all come together in urban and rural settings to create an anthology that is as original as it is familiar and as important as it is horrifying.

Did It Scared Me?

Creepiest s*** I ever seen.

What I Thought of It?

It's got different stories on it and it's... creepy as heck... not something you want to enjoy and well... this movie is just that exception xD I will not be watching this anymore.

Horror Movie Day 30: Under the Shadow

Under the Shadow Poster

About:

As a mother and daughter struggle to cope with the terrors of the post-revolution, war torn Tehran of the 80s, a mysterious evil begins to haunt their home.

Did It Scared Me?

Not really.

What I Thought of It?

This place was at war and it causes people to start leaving which is what is going on here. The story is good and can be interesting to watch. Things do get spooky on here but rarely. Just watch the movie yourself to figure out what is going on.

Horror Movie Day 29: Aval

Aval Poster

About:

Two families have a tough time dealing with a revenge-seeking spirit, which is strangely connected with one of its members

Did It Scared Me?

There was some parts that did made me jump a bit but not enough to scared the crap out of me.

What I Thought of It?

Indian movies are fun to watch and this one stayed true to it being horror... it's a good movie and I stayed to the main idea. It's about something that happened in the beginning which caused a huge haunting to this home.

Horror Movie Day 28: Errementari: The Blacksmith and the Devil

Errementari: The Blacksmith and the Devil Poster

About:

Based on a Basque folk tale, ”Patxi herrementaria,” collected by priest, archaeologist and anthropologist José Migel de Barandiarán in 1903, the story is set in the Basque region in 1845, in a universe inhabited by mythological diabolic creatures, battling to capture the souls of the unwitting.

Did It Scared Me?

Not really, but it's an interesting movie.

What I Thought of It?

It's a good movie. Something that I enjoyed a lot... Not big on the whole devil thing. I think these type of movies don't really scared me but rather make me realize how good they can be.

Horror Movie Day 27: At the Devil's Door

Watch At the Devil's Door

About:

When ambitious young real estate agent Leigh is asked to sell a house with a checkered past, she crosses paths with a disturbed girl whom she learns is the runaway daughter of the couple selling the property. When Leigh tries to intervene and help her, she becomes entangled with a supernatural force that soon pulls Leigh's artist sister Vera into its web - and has sinister plans for both of them.

Did It Scared Me?

Creepy but not at all scary.

What I Thought of It?

Be careful of what you might do... sell your soul and you might just regret it. That's what happened in the movie and the start of it all. It's really creepy and something worth the watch.
