The Beginning of Kingdom Hearts

After you hear the song and see the opening of the game, you are transported to a few things.

These things are important to how you play out with the game. You can say that this could be tutorials to a game too if you want.

After you pick which weapon to keep and what weapon to get rid of... most important to the game play, you know?

Also, after those choices, you get to learn to fight. Yay! The game is starting! Not really.

You do go through another trail of questions. These depend on how you gain EXP in the game.

Now... you are going to see familiar characters here... but kid versions.

If you played Final Fantasy games, you would be able to know who they are.

Tidus

Wakka

Now that's over... you get to fight your first boss fight. There's no way out of this so fight it off with the best way possible.

Alright, now we are our way to the beginning of the story... this part is important to read more...

Kairi wakes Sora up on the beach and we learn what we are doing on this island... we see Riku who says that we need to work on a raft to get off the island one day.

We are on Destiny Islands.

 

The story of this island... is Sora and Riku were from here... so they were born and raised on a main island and they come to this island as a secret base type of area. Kairi  is the only one that was not from there and she doesn't know how she got there or where her home was before. It was her that made Riku and Sora agree to make an idea to go on a raft, hoping to go to other worlds.

Alright, now let's get back to what you are doing in this game... you are building a raft... it's complete, so all you need is supplies and a name. The first part of the world, you are to hunt all the spplies and then you give them to Kairi.

Then you get the story on why they are building the raft in the first place. This part is important because after the conversation between the three... you are cut to Disney Castle.

Donald walks into the throne to find that King Mickey is gone! Pluto held a letter in his mouth, stating what happened to the king. Apparently, he went out because he sensed a great evil or darkness coming. And he wants to find the key. He asks Donald and Goofy to not follow him but to find the key to help on the light side. You will learn what that key is in another post.

Now that's over... you are back on the island with Sora. You would want to go race Riku... try to win... because you will get to name the raft on your own xD

Now... you are suppose to go back to Kairi... she gives you another list to find stuff... oh, what fun. But this is mostly supplies that are needed to survive out in the ocean.

After that ends... you get another scene. Keep in mind, this one is important. Riku says they are going to set out the next day (they never do... you will see why next). After Kairi leaves first, Riku is then seen throwing a papou fruit at Sora. Saying that whoever eats this together... they are destined to stay together forever. A very important note... but Sora being a kid just denied it and throw it away.

Later that night... Sora wakes up to noticed the island looks really weird... He sneaks out and... you hear his mom telling him that dinner is ready... Sora... you never got to eat that dinner... I bet it's cold by now... and possibly rotting. This scene was just random in my opinion but... let's just skip that part for now.

Anyway, Sora goes on the island and noticed a lot of things are messed up. These creatures began to pop up and he tried to take care of them with his wooden sword but it doesn't work. 

Then suddenly... a key appeared... You don't know what it's called yet xD But here's what it looks like.

Sora randomly swings this key around and he realizes it "kills" these creatures. So you go around the island in order to find out what is going on. You see Riku on their hangout spot and you go to him.

You ask him what is going on... Then things started to get really strange. You follow Riku but you refused to go with him only because you are worried about Kairi... she disappears... this part is very important to note for later in the game.

After all that... you are met with the Darkside... again.

After you beat the boss, things begin to happen and you are sucked into some kind of darkness... and well...
