Anime of the Day 26: Fruits Basket

Already seen this anime but full review will come at the end.

Mind you... this anime is cute. But there's a 2001 and 2019 version... We will be talking about both of them.

Now... here's my review of this anime.

What I Think of It?
There are two versions of this anime... the 2001 failed at following the storyline all the way... so let's talk about the 2019 version... which is perfect in every way... which is why I had gotten a shirt of this anime for myself. I love how the anime (and manga) follow a story and each episode depended on the character... the girl who is the main character just lost her mom and decided to live on her own because she didn't want to burden her grandfather and be hated by her other family... yea... that's how life was for her. Then she met Yuki... and from there... she found out they were cursed being some type of zodiac animal from the Chinese Zodiac... and well... the girl just learns more and slowly opens up about her life... I mean... this anime is NOT about falling in love with a boy... it's about emotions and how life can be hard... it points out suicide, depression, and everything that comes with life. I do recommend this anime and can't wait for the second season of the new anime because it's a LOT better than the 2001 version... Also, I want to read the manga sometime because I think it would be good too... especially with how this story hits at all the points of life.
